We particularly recommend that you remain alert to the dangers of fraud, especially investment and payment fraud*, even if documents or websites refer to genuine products and appear legitimate.

Potential investors should exercise extreme caution. Mutuo accepts no liability for potential losses you may suffer.

Types of fraud

Investment and payment fraud*

In investment and payment fraud, the victim is invited to send a lump sum to invest in bonds or fictitious fund(s) offered by the « bank ».

Payment fraud (advance fee fraud)*

In payment fraud (or advance fee fraud), the victim makes an advance payment to the « bank » to receive a service, such as « administrative fees » for a loan or « legal fees » to process an « inheritance ». The victim is asked to pay before the loan is approved or the sum received, after which the fraudsters disappear.
